Neet ug counselling 2024 : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the registration for NEET UG 2024 counselling for students seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs.
Interested candidates can visit the official website https://mcc.nic.in to register and submit their choices until August 19. The results of the first round of seat allotment will be announced on August 23.
Neet ug counselling 2024 Overview
The first round of counselling ends on August 19. Following this, new candidates, as well as those who opted for a free exit from the first round, can register for the second round. Counselling is conducted by the MCC for students who qualified in NEET UG 2024 and are eligible to apply for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats.
NEET UG 2024 counselling process
The NEET UG 2024 counselling process began on August 14 with the verification of a tentative seat matrix by participating institutes.
Registration and fee payment will take place from August 14 to August 20, 2024.Candidates can fill out and lock their choices between August 16 and August 20, 2024.
It is important to note that they must finalize their choices between 4 pm and 11:55 pm on August 20.
During this period, applicants should prioritize their preferred colleges and courses based on their NEET UG 2024 scores.
On August 21 and 22, 2024, the MCC will process the seat allotments, and the results will be released on August 23, 2024.
Those who have been allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between August 24 and August 29, 2024, to complete the admission process.
NEET UG 2024 counselling Registration process
Registration for NEET UG counselling began on August 14 and will be open until August 19, 2024.
The first round of seat allotments will be announced on August 23.
The data verification for candidates who have joined their allotted institutes will occur on August 30 and 31, 2024, followed by the sharing of data with MCC.
Applications for the second round of counselling will start on September 4.
The NEET UG 2024 counselling process will consist of three rounds, plus a stray vacancy round.
This counselling covers 15% of all India quota (AIQ) seats, as well as seats in central and deemed universities, private colleges, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
